In 2024 a need to provide outdoor recreation to Active-Duty Military, Veterans, and First responders came to light in Wisconsin when the organization Adaptive Adventures moved from Indiana to Colorado. The only difference is that we wanted to include not only those who served, but also their entire family

With partnerships being created with the Wisconsin Army National Guard and the Department of Veterans Affairs, and various other state and local level first responder leadership. Our goal is now to provide outdoor recreational opportunities like biking, hiking, camping, kayaking, sailing. and with the help of adaptive equipment based off of individual needs in smaller groups to facilitate healing.

These opportunities allow those who serve or who have served our country and communities to get away from the stresses caused by their jobs and enjoy the great outdoor resources that Wisconsin offers.
